Community Involvement

Jackson Pianos understands the profound power of the piano, and we use it as a portal to help elevate our community. Our commitment is deeply rooted in the acoustic piano, which we believe is not a limitation but a limitless force for creativity, connection, and positive change. We are proud to make a lasting impact—right here in St. Louis and beyond.

Here are just a few of the ways Jackson Pianos has used pianos to help our city:

  • Major sponsor of Make Music Saint Louis, an annual free outdoor day of music on June 21, welcomes all to play or enjoy music across the city
  • Founder of The Keys for Keys fundraiser for Places for People, using music to support the nonprofit’s mission to provide mental health care, housing, and supportive services in St. Louis
  • Co-founder of Pianos for People, providing free access to pianos and music education to those with limited resources; during our creation, we successfully donated 178 pianos to loving families
  • Creator of Keys to the Community, a community-driven program that places free, restored pianos in public spaces, inviting residents to play and enjoy music in their neighborhoods
  • Partnered with Thomas Sserwadda on his “Melodies of Change” initiative to supply and send twenty pianos to Bukulasa Seminary in Uganda
  • A regular sponsor of St. Louis-based outdoors concert series such as EcoTones, Burr Oak Concerts, and our personal program Pianos in Parks, fostering both local music and our second love, nature

This is just a little bit of what we have brought to our city and beyond. We have also worked with the likes of COCA, Washington University, Saint Louis University, Community Music School and so many more in our pursuit to keep acoustic pianos valid in our society!

Art for a living – let’s make this happen!
