When a piano is out of tune, even your Average Joe is going to know something’s off. He might not understand what, but he knows it’s something!

At Jackson Pianos, we keep our operation as precisely tuned as the strings on a Yamaha Concert Grand about to serve the fingers of a maestro at Powell Hall.

But you’ll also find as much soul as the tobacco-stained, whiskey-soaked upright in the corner of your favorite bar.

Family-owned, operated and lovingly labored over, our roots reach deep into the St. Louis community and beyond. We have some customers you might recognize, but we treat everyone that walks into our showroom, or whose home we visit, like a guest at our dinner table.

Jackson Pianos is a mom and pop shop – all work is done by family or employees. From pick-up to delivery, nothing is jobbed out to other companies. Because we don’t just work on pianos – we serve them, and they deserve our respect, and inspire us like nothing else in this world does. If you know, you know!

I bought a small wall piano at an estate sale, not realizing that it would be impossible to move! Since it was an estate sale I had to get it out fast. Jackson Pianos completely rescued me! They not only squeezed me into their schedule, they never treated me like the idiot that I clearly was for thinking I could get this done myself. Their prompt and courteous movers handled my 500 pound mistake without judgement. It is now safely where it belongs and I could not be more grateful. 10 out of 10. No notes!

I have been looking for a piano for over a year before I was finally directed to Jackson piano. The staff at Jackson piano was helpful and happy to teach me about what to look for in a secondhand and used piano. With that information, I tried to buy a secondhand piano from private sales only to find that those pianos were often severely neglected. I went back to Jackson piano and ended up buying a beautiful, refurbished Kawaii. With their five-year warranty, their tuning services, their rehabilitation services, and their buyback at 80% of the pianos original sale, it was a no-brainer. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase from a company that does it all.

Our piano had not been tuned in quite some time. I was very pleased with everything about the process with Jackson Piano-from making the initial appointment through the tuning process. I have already set up my appointment for the next tuning. First class service.

I am the GM for Brown Button Estate Sales in St. Louis and last week we had someone purchase a Steinway piano in our online estate sale and arranged pick up and delivery, but the company she hired fell through and she reached out to Jackson Pianos and THEY SAVED THE DAY. They were able to fit her in last minute before we lost access to the home. I was so impressed with the team who showed up. They were so professional and so positive. Jackson Pianos is definitely our go-to referral and the first company we will tell our clients to call!
